Summer Camp

The DEC Summer Camps registration for the 2023 season has been postponed from Sunday, March 5 to Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 1:00PM. If you are interested in sending a kid to camp please let us know so we can get you a voucher code. Call Joe 518 965 4990 As of right now it looks like we are sending 4 campers. Kalicoontie Fishing Trip FRIDAY MAY 19th 2023 (filling fast)

We are going fishing again. The club will again be chartering a fishing trip aboard the Blackhawk2 leaving from Niantic Ct. on Friday May 19th. We will be targeting Scup ( Porgy ), weakfish ( sea trout ), and Fluke on the long Island Sound and the Peconic Bays area. The price for adults will be  $ 100 per person which includes rod, bait, and tackle plus entry into the biggest fish contest.  We are signing up the first 30 – 40 members who call me and provide payment.  This date is set rain or shine. We would like to have a kids day trip also where adults will need to bring at least one child to fish with.  We had an awesome time last year and hope to repeat it again. Come have some fun.

Game Dinner February 18th

The Kalicoontie Rod & Gun Club will be holding its annual FREE game dinner for members and guests Saturday February 18th. Starts at 5pm with dinner at 6pm. As usual, bring your favorite dish, side, or dessert to share with others. Loads of fun and excitement and a great way to get out and fight the wintertime blues/cabin fever.
