Our last shoot for the Spring of 2016 will be a Ham/Turkey shoot held Sunday May 15th. We will also be drawing our spring raffle contest winners this day.
All shoots start at 10AM. Competitions held using .12g and .20g birdshot, slugs, center fire rifle, .22cal rim fire pistol, and .22cal rim fire rifle. Entry is $3. Frozen Hams, Turkeys, and Pork Loins awarded as first prize. Second prize is ( kielbasa , Cornish hen ) There are also prize tables filled with sports related gear to choose from as well as raffles. COLUMBIA COUNTY – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit received a donation, the department says is essential for the success of the K9 program.
The donation of $1,250 came from the Kalicoontie Rod and Gun Club, in Livingston.
This donation was used to purchase equipment for the K9 Unit consisting of patrol protection sleeves for bite apprehension, long training leads, kennel cleaner, and narcotic scent bags.
LIVINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Sheriff Deputies from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office say they’ve received a donation that will help purchase equipment for their K9 Unit.
Sheriff David Bartlett says the donation is the amount of $1,250 from the Kalicoontie Rod and Gun Club, located in Livingston. The donation was presented to the Sheriff’s Office on December 10 by Lisa DiStefano, who is a board member of the Rod and Gun Club.
They say this donation was used to purchase equipment for the K9 Unit consisting of patrol protection sleeves for bite apprehension, long training leads, kennel cleaner and narcotic scent bags.
Sheriff Bartlett would like to personally thank Kalicoontie Rod and Gun Club for their generous donation. This equipment is essential for the success of our K9 program.
