Range closed notice

The range will be closed to members on the following dates and times.

Tues July 19th 6pm-9pm , Thurs July 21st 6pm-9pm , Sat July 23rd 8am-4pm

We once again are able to host the .22cal small-bore rifle class for the Columbia County Sportsmen’s Youth Program. This is the second year for the program and it is growing. We are proud to be a part of it.

This class will be held on those dates so plan your range time accordingly.

Adopt a Highway Clean-up Sunday

We will be doing our Adopt a Highway clean-up tomorrow morning June 26th starting at 8AM. We will meet at the clubhouse and proceed from there. Takes about an hour and a half to two hours. Bring gloves, garbage picker upper tool, grabber etc…..

We will provide bags and safety vests. Hope to see you there. We will be cleaning Route 9 from Schneider Rd to Bells Pond Diner. ( 2 miles )

TURKEY SHOOT ! & SPRING RAFFLE DRAWING SUNDAY MAY 15th

Our last shoot for the Spring of 2016 will be a Ham/Turkey shoot held Sunday May 15th. We will also be drawing our spring raffle contest winners this day.

All shoots start at 10AM. Competitions held using .12g and .20g birdshot, slugs, center fire rifle, .22cal rim fire pistol, and .22cal rim fire rifle. Entry is $3. Frozen Hams, Turkeys, and Pork Loins awarded as first prize. Second prize is ( kielbasa , Cornish hen ) There are also prize tables filled with sports related gear to choose from as well as raffles. Turkey Hunting Seminar APRIL 2nd 9am-1pm

The Kalicoontie Rod & Gun Club will welcome Former Knight & Hale Pro Staff members Jim Bertram and Richard Odell to the club on Saturday April 2nd to host a Turkey Hunting Seminar. These two will be sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience with those interested in learning some tried and true methods of getting that big Tom to come to you.
A roughly three hour program that answers the most asked questions from turkey hunters everywhere: when, where, and how to call, and kill turkeys. You will learn techniques and tactics regarding the ‘setup’, ‘calling the wild turkey,’ and perhaps one of the most crucial aspects of all, taking the shot. Saturday April 2nd from 9am-1pm
